SLAVE is accepting nominations and self-nominations for membership on our Advisory Board. We are seeking nominations regarding persons with a substantial vested interest in reform of the student loan industry representing the diversity reflected within the student loan borrower community. This can include student loan borrowers with subtantial outstanding student loan debt obligations, college or university faculty members who support the SLAVE mission and vision, former employees or officers of student loan lenders, guarantors, servicers, or secondary market participants who support the SLAVE mission and vision, and other appropriately situated persons. The SLAVE Advisory Board will provide recommendations to the SLAVE Director regarding SLAVE strategic planning, the SLAVE vision for achievement of the SLAVE mission, adherence to SLAVE values, and SLAVE management and operations.

SLAVE is seeking diversity on the Advisory Board, and is interested in receiving nominations and self-nominations from all appropriately situated persons from all groups and categories of individuals reflective of our constituency.
